Wednesday, 20 January 2010 - Youth services enjoy first theatre visits



Following a recent visit by local youth and youth services workers, Riverside Theatre is delighted to announce a new audience development initiative.

Under the working title "Not For The Likes of Us" young people in youth clubs can enjoy a range of drama productions.

For some, it may be the first experience of being in a theatre and the wide range of subject material comes as quite a surprise. Not least because of the debate and discussion it creates.

Not For The Likes of Us recognises that young people have the capacity to think about their lives, use their past experiences to inform future decisions and actions, and make positive contributions to the life of their communities.
