- Drama Summer School for Young People
Bruiser Theatre Company Back With A Bang for Drama Summer School for 2010!
Wed 30th June – Sat 10th July 2010
If you are aged between 13 and 19 years old, and think you have the enthusiasm and motivation to hack it as a professional actor, WE WANT YOU TO AUDITION on SATURDAY 13 MARCH 2-5PM at the Riverside Theatre. This unique project to nurture home-grown talent is back by popular demand!
This year’s Summer School will be facilitated by Bruiser’s Artistic Director and the Belfast Telegraph’s ‘Woman Of The Year In The Arts 2009’, Lisa May; and Patrick J. O’Reilly, long-standing Bruiser collaborator and Artistic Director of Red Lemon Theatre Company.
Young actors work with the Bruiser team towards a theatre performance using Bruiser’s unique physical style. If you’ve been with us before then you’ll have the chance to polish and improve your skills with some familiar texts from previous years and some brand new for 2010! If you’re new to the Bruiser-at-The-Riverside experience, then you’re in for a treat!
The cast will experience the visually exciting, rhythmic, choral and choreographic elements for which Bruiser is renowned, by participating in a series of theatre workshops, which will be both informative and fun.
